Here’s where you can put down ideas for your character’s AU backstory! We’ve provided a short form, but feel free to add in any details you like. This is also a good place to coordinate with other people from your canon if you want to include them in your character’s backstory.

IC
Name: Your character’s name and if it’ll be different in the AU.
Age: Let us know approximately how old they are.
Canon: What’s the main source of their original canon?
Wiki Link: What is their canon backstory like?
AU Backstory: The most important part. Let us know how your character grew up before the zombie apocalypse and how they’ve been surviving since them.
Personality: How has their backstory shaped their personality in this verse?
Skills: Is there anything out of the ordinary they might bring to the table?
Inventory: Your character is allowed to have five items on them when they arrive. Only one of these can be a weapon. A firearm and bullets for it are considered one item. The outfit they are wearing does not count, but any extra outfits do.
Writing Samples: We want at least two different threads set in two different situations. Try to make them contrasting, so an action thread and something a little more low-key. TDM samples are preferred, but canon threads are allowed if you haven’t put up a TDM entry.

Remember to have your AU app somewhere accessible for people to be able to reference. Also note that your character won't be coming into the compound in a huge group. They will have arrived at some point previous in the two years.
